Got a phone call (Well I should say a hangup) let it ring 3 times in the morning,no message. Traced the number back to Solomon & S. I have never gotten any mail from this outfit, although Palisades has put a TL on my CR which I am about to dispute again.
I also have not treceived anything from Palisades. Not even a phone call.
After I saw the TL from P I did send off a dispute, but it came back verified, so now I will send an unknown debt letter to P. In the meantime the other day I got a letter from Nelson & saying they are collecting for their client P.
Am about to send off my validation letter to them. Now I am wondering if they have already passed off this to Solomon? Are they in cahoots together and one in the same with Palisades?
This can be the ONLY thing as I have no other alleged debts.
So what do you go think I should do, as I am within months of SOL.

I would not send debt validation letters until the SOL is up. Don't want to wake them up to filing for judgment. It might make a difference to just wait them out.

I currently have a few credit cards defaulted due to divorce and going on disability. My income is exempt and I am waiting out SOL. Unfortunately a few of them filed for judgment which is 20 years SOL in Illinois so now I have longer to wait. But at least they are not showing up on any credit report. YET.

Yeah best to let sleeping dogs sleep.
