When do SOL's begin? The state of Maine's SOL's are 6 years on everything. I have one CA account that says open 7/97, date of status 8/1998, reported since 8/1997. The OC debt began 10/96. I did make payments but have no clue when (don't remember) I am thinking it is from the date of the debt 10/96 - but I am confusing myself. Also, I disputed this debt on Experian and it is due Friday. IF it gets deleted, should I immediately dispute it on another CR? SOL starts when you went delinquent on the account and NEVER BROUGHT IT CURRENT again. So, if your last payment was in 5/98, and you never paid on it again, it went continuously delinquent in 6/98 - SOL clock starts ticking then.
