Sherman Acquisitions and I have been havinga bg argument for about a month. I threateneed to sue, they caved in, agreed to remove their TL from my CR's (and did) as well as pay me $1000 (check on its way). BUT, they put a hard Inquiry on one CR. After the settlement. Any advice on how to deal with this? PS - they caved because I never owed them a penny and they admitted it. Does removing a TL give PP to pull a hard inquiry?
Dang, that sounds similar to Christine's story @ CreditForum. She sued them for one thing, they pulled her credit report b/c of the lawsuit, and ding dong! another violation. They cannot pull your report just because you are in dispute with them. I will post a link to her thread. Your case is good. Get your money girl. Add one more grand to that.
Re: Re: Some advice please Thanks a lot. Imagine - suing them for false reporting, collecting $1000 for it then suing them again the next month for false inquiry and collecting another $1000. With CA's like this I can retire from tax accounting and become a professional litigant.
