Ok, I have been following the procedure. I filed my disputes with the CRA, and it automatically knocked off two old accounts! I am pleased! I have been building for battle, but I need a game plan for a couple of charge-offs, so if anybody has some advice, I would appreciate it: 1. I had an Capital One card that has been charged off. I thought about an OC validation, but, the date of last activity was 10/1997. 7 years will be up in 2004. Do I take the chance, and if so, what procedure would you recommend. I have not done anything with them yet. 2. Another charge off, an auto loan balance of $1420 with last activity of 01/98.
