This is part of my Transunion report and my question is if the bottom part of the entry is correct about the item dropping off on said month and year does that actually happen? Here is an example: AMERICAN AGENCIES Balance: $934 Date Updated: 10/2007 Original Balance: $495 Original Creditor: 10 PB PACBELL Past Due: >$934< Pay Status: >Collection Account< Remark: >Placed for collection< Date placed for collection: [ 09/2004] Estimated date that this item will be removed: 07/2009 This particular one, the collector recently tried to collect and the last time they tried to collect was several months ago, does the SOL for this begin on the date it was placed for collection? Also, is the SOL for the state that I lived in or is it on the state I live in now?
The SOL began when you first became delinquent with the original creditor/when they first sent it to the collection goons. As far as I know it is the state you were living in when you first became delinquent.
