Well I got that 6 year old settled cc finally changed and all the negatives taken off. The bad thing is the account is now unrated. My next oldest tradeline is a 4 year old car payment and my next oldest cc is 11 months old. My factors changed and my #1 is now length of time of credit file is too short and my #3 is length of time of cc is too short. I lost 24 points. Kill me now cause I will never get a credit or store card for at least 2 years.

I hate to break it to you, but 658 is not that bad of a score, but if you would like us to kill you what would you prefer...a slow painful death or just quick and swift? ;)

PS Once the 11 month card reaches 12 months the score should go back where it was (or at least close to it). FICO isn't suppose to make sense. Relax...at least you have one less negative tradeline. :)

heh thanks. Actually I have no negatives. I have 1 good finance loan, 2 good car loans, 1 good car lease, 2 good credit cards. I cannot get a store card or a credit card. There isn't even a stinking late payment. It is perfect.

    Way to go pic!

In no time your scores will be in the 700s. I wish I had no derogs....

The only reason your score is low is because most of your credit is relatively new...under one year old. In six months to a year you should be at or near 700. Think of credit as a fine wine...it takes forever to age, but once it does it tastes really good. :)

I think once I get all my derogs out I will have 1 4 year old store credit card and a 6 month old Cap1 CC...

Chear up picantel, when TU deleted my foreclosure my FAKO dropped from 593 to 576. Good thing my FICO jumped from 574 to 650!

It is still depressing. I decided for the heck of it to try for a sears card(not the cc but the simple store card) and I got turned down.

Congrats on the derog removal. Now you are essentially starting out again w/ good credit. Be patient and the cards will come. You might want to take a break from applying though so some of your inqs. are a little older which should help your score too.

Relax pic. Your score will start going up every month, a lot higher than it ever would have with the derog.

BTW- please tell me youre gonna dispute the sears inquiry!
