I have 1 open trade line which is a capital 1 credit card. Ive been late on it a couple of times. Im looking to raise my credit score A.S.A.P!!!! I have a few other accounts that are derogatory as well. What would you guys recommend I do as far as taking care of all this B.S and having my credit score shoot up by summertime, because im looking to purchase a car. Any firms out there that can help me out?
With only one positive tradeline currently, you may consider adding more positive tradelines. This is typically the easiest and most rapid way to see an increase in your FICO score. There are several options for doing so with the first choice being asking a friend or relative to add you as an authorized user to their credit card accounts. Make sure that their accounts are clear and have sufficient age. If this is not a viable option, there are some entities which provide this service. Bear in mind that some are cheaper than others and moreover, some are far more reputable than others. In short, do some due diligence and make an informed choice if you opt to purchase tradelines. Additionally, make sure your utilization is below 30%. You may also consider disputing the derogatory accounts reporting on your credit reports through the credit reporting agencies.
