o.k. the only problems I see now are them trying to take money out again. I am going to close out my account I can't no earlier then Sept. 1 because of checks being out and direct deposits, anyone have any clue on how fast these jerks will try and send money through again? I bank with National City and they charged me 26 to stop payment and in order to stop the ACH debit they they said another 26. will be charged, if this company puts it through as a check and it is an invalid check can they turn around and do a debit? Man this upsets me! We called e credit solutions and they said that they already put the check through ( according to the bank it has not cleared though) they couldn't do anymore with it so we could go though the refund process next wednesday and to call them back. So how fast should I be aware of their scams? Anything would help, you all have been saviors already!

they can't do debit unless they have your atm/check card number I Think...Pretty sure....Did you ask your bank if you can dispute unauthorized electronic transfers of any kind?? I just had to tonight with my bank because I was debited twice for the same thing....

o.k. well they don't have my check card number at all, they said I could stop an ACH debit from them but 26 bucks again (I already did the check #) besides they could change the name and then they would put it through anyway with a debit...so really not worth it....just looking to see if anyone knows a timeframe from these jerks! I read on another site posted earlier that it happened to them and 1 month and 2 weeks later they got 220 something from her account! But by then I will have a new account I just hope I can do it in time...Thanks again

OK how close are you to your bank? If you can, tell them to honor NO checks beyond #XXX the number you have legitamitely written, ok. Otherwise contact the other checks written and notify them you have a problem and must cancel their checks to re-write them new checks.

If not, cancel it NOW AS IF YOU LOST YOUR CHECK BOOK!!! That way there will be a fraud alert/police report on your account so that after day XXX you are void of responsibility. Call the police if you must and say your checkbook was stolen...point is DOCUMENT IT! If any recourse can come of the loss it can only come if documented.

the only problem is that we are overseas. Military and so we can't just walk into our bank. It is Michigan where our stateside residence is. Will they charge me for saying I do not want anychecks accetped after a certain number...Then continue with a whole another box or something like that? The military has to have direct deposit, so that is why we need to keep the account open for so long, monday morning when we have a new account # we are changing the direct deposit. Then I will order new checks, and then continue on, but until we close the account. I don't mind losing out on the 50 bucks for the stop payment and the checks I ordered for this account if it will save me 200 later.
