Marie, I heard from this board that FCNB denied Eddie Buaer MC because they have negative on their credit report. I applied for Eddie Bauer MC and I got approved for $2500. They didn't approved me that much even I have other platinum cards and Spiegel with them. I got my Spiegel through pre-approvals from the mail. Now Eddie Bauer Rewards MC and Spiegel Card offer instant-approval online application. I don't know they are bk friendly and those are not subprime cards. I know fcnb will let bk's have a visa.. but I don't need another one and I've never done secured. I was trying to figure out how to get into their cards to get the Eddie bauer. I've heard if you have one card they'll preapprove you for another and another... I just reread the terms and caught 2 cycle average daily balance so maybe I'll pass anyway... but thanks for the feedback. Yep, TU perhaps...
Marie, All FCB cards have 2 cycle billing average balance billing. No matter whether it is secured or unsecured. The APR is higher than other cards. Ron.
Wow Guys I just want online and appy for a eddie card and got it in seven days it will come. I think you should wait Marie because of the BK maybe they will send you a pre-aprrove after you use the store card for awhile.
Strange thing about the 2-cycle average, Crate & Barrel (also thru FCNB) uses the average daily balance method.
