Anyone ever heard of Spirit of America National Bank? A Mrs. Buckhalter? keeps leaving messages on my answering machine saying she is a senior account manager with important offers/ information for me. She always says it is VERY IMPORTANT that I contact her. Whenever I return the call she is gone for the day...The customer service rep says she needs my phone # or ssn before she can help me...I REFUSE to give out either, and the standard response is that my account cannot be accessed without either. I respond by saying I do not have an account with them. They always respond by saying it must have been a wrong # when they called me...sounds very scripted...Are they a collection agency? Is there any way I can stop this annoyance??
