My TU file has split. When I pull my report online it shows one tradeline that was added in March. Yesterday I received a report from a dispute I had filed sometime back and has all my bad stuff. I have applied for credit and I kept being denied for lack of credit nothing about the CO. Just say I apply for a car will they be able to see both files. How does it work with a split file?

I was told by a mortgage broker, though I do not know if it is true or not bc he was a moron, that both files will be pulled. I know in my experience, I did not have a split file but it looked like it bc my file was being merged, each broker DID pull both reports, BUT, that is a trimerged, I would think they would only get 1 report for car loan and it would come straight from the bureau. The gamble would be, which report????

I have a split file and on a trimerge they both come up.

EQ gave me two different file numbers. This allows me to dispute each file separately and create confusion at EQ.

Thought I was home free. Well at least I can apply for credit on TU and crditors not see the bad until I finish my repair.
