This may be a dumb question but my husband has no interest in doing this credit repair. His report from Trans Union shows my citibank card with late payments. He was an authorized user, can I call in a dispute for him or do I need to send a letter and have him sign it??

    Thanks.

they will not verify signatures really. just do it for him. i am serious! will he sue you for forging his sign. if not do it for him.

It is your account too, you can tell them to fix it!!!

YOU LIVE IN A COMMUNITY PROPERTY STATE (CA)...MY OPINION IS YES YOU CAN FOR HIM EVEN IF IT WASN'T A JOINT ACCOUNT...

I have disputed my husband's account by phone. The Credit Bureaus have never minded at all. I have to have his SSN, etc. But it works just fine. I also have written letters on his behalf. He has never sued me yet <g>.
