I am disputing 6 inquiries online with TU starting today. Let's see how long it takes them to *investigate* it and if they remove them.
good luck I got a letter stating I have to dispute with the creditors or collection agencies that placed them.
I don't want to discourage you but I disputed my inquiries with TU and they refused to investigate any of them because they said that these creditors do not need the consumers authorization to have permissable purpose to pull the credit report. I thought that was bull because I had not applied for any jobs, sought out any insurance or applied for any credit so according to them joe schmoe could take a look see at my credit report just becuase he's bored and I have no recourse. I am in the process of suing them.
Robin, have you ever filed a suit before? I have enough info/documentation on TU to file one. Just curious.
