I have found some great advice and info on this board. I started this journey of disputes and validation on8/8/02 and just started getting my updated reports on 9/9/02. Here are the results- TU-9 deletions including 1 judgement-2 verfied (NCO & Marlin) this will be fixed soon. Just need to work on unpaid CA (3) and late pays. EQ-4 deletions and 6 verified. The rest same as above. EX-1 deletion, too many verified. All previous addresses deleted. Hope this helps get the judgement deleted. I have 2 derogs that will drop off by 2/03. I plan disputing 1 or 2 items and then wait till Thanksgiving. I can't wait till Turkey Day!!! Thank you to all the info all the members provide and a special thanks to who ever started Creditnet. I wish I would have found this Board about 2 years ago!
Congratulations! Great start for your first round of disputes. I can't wait for CHOD in November. It will be hard to wait until then.
Thanks for the kind words. I just sent in copies of my credit reports with a cover sheet indicated that the marked TLs were incorrect and to please delete. I sent out validation letters to the paid and unpaid CA's at the same time. I am not too sure if this had any effect. I have already recieved letters from a few paid CAs stating they will delete all info of my CRs. I plan on asking the CRAs for their procedures on all verified info during the next round of disputes. I don't know if I can wait till Turkey Day. But I should show some patience.
