What ccc pulls strictly TU that will give me a starter card, w/minimal history? Score is 650. I have already looked in the library, but it does not elaborate. Any ideas, besides first premiere? Thanks in advance

Chase always pulls TU for us.

A few months ago when they declined us (twice) they sent along with the denial letter some info about a secured card they offer. Sorry I didn't keep it.

I can tell you from personal experience though, they are great about reconsiderations.

Just last week we had asked for a big increase in a CL we'd had for almost 2 years with little movement. They declined it. We asked for reconsideration, explaining that the one paid CA on TU was not ours and we had not been able to get them to remove it yet. They took down that info, resubmitted the increase request and VOILA!, CL went from $1700 to $10000 about 3 days later.

We love Chase. They seem to actually listen.

I just applied w/ them on-line, it says they will send a reply via mail w/i 30 days, I need a card desperately, the fact that I do not have one is killing my scores on all three reports, top negative each report is lack of revolving acts. According to the Equifax simulator, my score could go up as much as 70 pts. if I had a revolving acct. Chase does not have an on-line reply? I did not see instant response anywhere. Anywhoo, thanx for your help, greatly appreciated.

I have never gotten an instant approval with Chase.

Also, sometimes they are slow. Last time I applied, I waited 3 weeks to call them. In the future, I wouldn't wait more than 10 days or so.

Hope they come through for you.

You should be able to find out something after waiting 2 business days if you can't wait for a response from them. I will post the number to call as soon as I find it.

Though I'm not a big fan of theirs, Capone is a good starter card. Not sure who they pull, might depend where you live.

thanks ya'll, Cap one turned me down, they pulled Exp. which is my worst b/c I am awaiting results to my first investigation fm them (5 derogs) and they pulled Equifax (1 derog) TU is the only clean report I have. I am crossing my fingers, the top neg on all of my reports says no revolving so I need something desperately.

First Consumer National Bank pulls TU ONLY. A lot of people use them as a starter card.....IF... you are going secured. Most of the time they will triple your deposit.

    Good Luck
