ok, i give up on this whoe Æ?#$%in credit b.s..

first. i get turned down every Æ?#$%in time.

second. i have to pay money to find out why i keep getting turned down??? what kind of stingy @ss b.s. operation is this.

third. who do i even go to find out how to get credit!!

fourth. if my only option is to get a secured card, then i dont want it!!! cause then that means that i have the cash that im trying to get out of a freakin credit card!!!

im a student, so im not even going to try to apply for a student card...

    --------------------------
    side question
if i were to apply for a loan at a bank to take some money out to cover my tuition, i have a job!, would i be approved or do banks pull the same strings as these credit nazis?

    thanx.

    go to www.privacyguard.com
sign up for their free trial. it pulls all three reports for you.
cancel before they charge you..wont cost you anything.

that will be a good starting point to find out what your credit looks like currently.

Ahh you gotta learn to play the game my friend,, dont worry we were all in your shoes at once. But you dont need to pay to find out why you were denied. Each time your denied you must be given a letter with 4 reasons, for denial, and a free copy of the credit report they pulled supplied to you at no cost. If u have no credit look into some student cards. If your credit sucks, get a starter like Cap 1, And suck it up , pay the little higher intrest rate, and start cleaning them up too.. I was sayign the same thing a lil over a yr ago , and now im opver 700, and just closed on a house at 5.5% . So dont gove up yet.......

I just joined PrivacyGuard. They are asking me for a Private Access Code in order to see my reports. Did I miss a step? Where do I get this from?

One of the realities it seems you are just now learning is that banks want to loan money to people that don't need it. It is their only sure way of getting it back.

It is dangerous for students to get credit cards because they have little experience with credit. If you do want credit then student cards are probably the best way by far followed by secured cards.

If you are getting turned down for c. cards, no a bank will not loan you money.

first, don't let it frustrate you.

second, when you are denied, you are entitled to a free copy of the report from the cra which was used by the company that denied you.

in the denial letter, they have to provide the name of the cra which they obtained your information from, just call their toll-free number and go through the prompts to request your report.
