I didn't know creditnet members had that kind of power - I think I would be suing somebody FAST! Or threatening.... And how STUPID does this make Nextcard look? Are goats running the place? Into the ground? amazing - dogman

Doc is just fooling around You got me Doc. I've been waiting for some Nextcard news. ROTFL... Have you noticed though, that lbrown is no longer quoting the evils of FICO and is trying to be helpful to posters??
I work for a similar ISP in the web server department, and quite frankly stuff like that website (impersonating, using copyrighted images, potentially creating libelous/slanderous rumours against a company) gets companies' (like nextcard) legal department all huffy and then they contact the ISP and all hell breaks loose as one legal department handles the issue and the other legal department complains, and everyone in between gets their chains rattled. If you don't think stuff like that gets around to the source, then you're dead wrong. It's a real pita and ultimately wastes a lot of peoples' time and money, and yes, it is illegal. Just an fyi, i thought it was funny, but whoever did that don't be suprised if the abuse/legal department starts yelling at you..
Uh-oh, Sam, you don't think I'll go to jail, do you? Doc P.S. If they do send me to jail, maybe I'll get to meet some of the NextCard execs there.
