Back a few weeks ago I read a thread that stated several people rec'd CL increases without a hard inq after 6 monts. Yesterday I called them 3 times and each rep told me CL increases are only done with hard inq? Is this true?
tommyy, They increased my credit limit without hard inquiry after six months.They did account review. They will ask you your income, employment info, rent or own etc and they call you back with the results after 15 min. They increased the limit from $5000-$8000.By the way, i did that about a month ago. Ron.
I called to ask for a CL increase and was transfered away from the normal customer service to their credit department. I asked them for a CL increase with no hard inquiry. They reviewed the Equifax report they pulled last year and increased me from $5,000 to $9.500 with no inquiry.
A few weeks ago. I was probably the one who started the thread you read, although Ron was also successful and started one right afterwards.
