    George,

Just curious, why do you call this a "toy" card ? Is it because they give low limits to everyone ?

ANOTHER POST LOST IN CYBER-SPACE...(TWO OF THEM)

My WAL*MART store card is $2,425...
    Lowest MAJOR $5,000...

If they give $5,000 or more...NO LONGER A "TOY" CARD...

    George,

What about credit report dispute on the Stare Farm Bank account since they reopen your account?

George, be careful with this situation. I disputed the same day I applied on-line because after reading the 7-10 day message i thought it was a denial for sure. Three weeks later (one week after receiving my card) I got a call from State Farm asking why I disputed the inq. with EX. They thought possible fraud was going on. I explained that EX made the error, I questioned why they disputed it, and asked that they cancel the dispute and call State Farm.He stated no one called. No sh#t. He just verified my address , mothers maiden name, and ss# and said everything was ok. I checked my acct 3 times since and its in active status. WHEW!!!
Morale of the story: Don't ever, I mean never, dispute an open account!!!You'll risk losing it!! If I were you George I would be proactive and call SF Cust. Service and make up a story about the dispute (blame it on EX) That way there fraud unit will see it.

Even George has his standards, just like FICO (400, 500, 600, 700 club).

Any major card under $5000 is now classified as a "toy" card. LOL I guess that means all my cards are "toy" cards. Oh well maybe someday I will have a "real" card ;)

    George, you are a trendsetter!

    Coco,

I got a couple of Toy Card myself like GMcard ($1500), Sears Gold Mastercard ($3500), Eddie Bauer Mastercard ($3200). I used it once a month and keep the account active.

He asked NO questions like SS# or account # or address...etc...HE JUST ASKED IN REFERENCE TO THE DISPUTE WITH EXPERIAN AND ME "REFUSING" THE ACCOUNT.

I just told him the TRUTH...the LOWEST card I have is $5,000!!!

I HAVE CONFIRMED ALREADY IT IS NOW $5,000!!!

I THOUGHT I POSTED THAT ALREADY...

HE WAS SORRY FOR "THIER ERROR IN JUDGEMENT"!!!

Stop giving them your work number then. Give them your cell phone number (assuming you have vmail). What's the point in them having it if they aren't supposed to use it? All my creditors have my cell number as my work number. They don't need to be blowin me up at work.

I have had like maybe 20 "personal" calls at work in all these years...they really don't care...
20/day...that would be a different story.

I thought they call to confirm work phone #....(maybe ask store hours)...
