kevinw01, If you applied on the web and you should heard the answer within 3 to four hours. I applied for my card last year on the weekend and they pulled credit the same day as I applied. They pull credit from Experian for most people. Ron.

I called three days after I applied and they had no status information for me. I assumed I was denied. About two weeks later I got the card in the mail with a 5k limit.

They do a hard inquiry, mine was there by the time I closed the State Farm site and logged in CE. I kept calling and finally found out they needed a utility bill to prove residence, because PO Box is listed on credit report. It took me 5 days to find that out, so I faxed it and called within 2 hrs and was told I was approved for $7500. BTW...I'm not Dave, but I answered...lol.
kevin, They puilled hard inquiry on your credit report. It should say: State Farm Financial SVC 3/18/02 in your case. Ron.
Just putting some info in... I applied for statefarm (responding to a 2.9% for 6M offer) via snail mail on March 2. They checked my credit according equifax on 3/9.. still no word vai snail mail.. unless something is here today. Cherie
Hello There, Yes Statefarm did pull a hard one on experian on me now I have 2 inqs in the last 6 mos... hopefully I will get it from them is it a nice looking card or just the plain style... I got the Generations Bank visa is a plain old blue card nothing special but the apr is great 9.9% Thanks again all... Kev
CALL 1-877-734-2265 "I needed to know when I will get my VISA card...I'm going on vacation and wanted to do the BT before I leave" P.S. they mail a check for the BT to the other credit card company for you...you have to call on the phone for it to happen...they don't mail ANY checks to you... 90% maximum...
Hello There, I just call customer service and they told me that they need a utility bill for address verification cause my credit report is showing a mailing address and when I apply I use my residence address so they said that as soon as they get that fax over to them to will continue with the app so does this seem to be an approval to you....
