I have a couple of negative accounts on my credit report that will reach the SOL this year. I am planning to file Chapter 7 in a few days. Once the bankruptcy is discharged will those to accounts still be on my credit report or will they still drop off this year? Or should I not include them on the bankruptcy filing?

Seems to me that if you are filing bankruptcy that worrying about those two tradelines is a little like worrying about getting hit with a water balloon when the tsunami is coming...

First, do not mistake SOL with aging off your CRA. The *reporting* period is 7 yrs. SOL is most often shorter.

Are the debts you intend on filing BK for past SOL? If so, forget the BK and dispute, fix and rebuild.
