I am going to go after ASSet acceptance this week. I have sent validation 2x (never got the green card back the 1st time so sent again for proof). I have sent the Estoppel. The 15th day was this week. I plan on filing a complaint with the state bank and finance dept., the FTC (no help) and BBB. Is there anything else I can do? I called the AG and they said they don't deal with CAs. I have disputed once with each bureau. Exp I have to send to a local CRA, Equ I can't do online anymore. TU just finished this week. It comes back verified everytime. I was also thinking of sending an intent to sue letter. They have notated the account as being in dispute by consumer. What section in the FDCPA deals with this? Are they required to remove it after a certain time period if they cannot validate. Of course they haven't contacted me to resolve it. The only violation I can think of is not validating the account and still listing on the credit report. I know there is a staff opinion that relates to this. Are there anymore violations that you can think of? I need some opinions. I think I'm still missing something here. I hope I make sense.
