hey if he still OWNS the car why not go out and accumulate LOTS of parking tickets.... sorry couldn't resist ;-)
once we bought an old car from a friend 50 bucks or so. no biggie. friend said that he didnt have title transfered into his name yet, but it wouldnt be a problem. we came to find out that it had exchanged hands several times with no title transfer. No problem I thought, I'll just call the title holder and clear this up right? wrong this B%^& called me every name in the book said she would not under any circumstance transfer title. she had some beef with the original buyer... well, we didnt know what to do. we couldn't get plates for the car so it kept getting tickets. in a final act of desperation we drove the car to a parking lot , threw the keys on the seat and left it there. years later we found out through the friend we bought from, that the car was stolen, recieved many tickets, and that B#$% went to JAIL for it. WE never anticipated that when we dumped the car, but it brings a smile to my face every time i think about it!!! hope this brightens up your day!! beck
Funny most of my debts are cause of my fathers fault. No joke, putting utilities in my name etc. He is more immature then me.
