    Hello out there..
have the Proviain Gold Card with a credit limit of $300 just got that in the mail last month...I have recently been turned down for Capitol One and Aspire..Just trying to get some more opinions on credit cards to get...Sterling Bank has a guranteed offer according to the Junum website...$200 deposit for roughly a credit limit of $250 credit limit..I have been told to go through FCNB but i do not want to be turned down again..The only thing is that I need at least 2 trade lines according to alot of people that post on this message board..Has anyone started with the Sterling Card and recieved CL increases or has anyone ever had there card unsecured after a period of time???

I'm not sure about the junum card but the Sterling Bank offer (direct with Sterling) is pretty much guaranteed since you send in deposit money for the account. They do not have an online service to review your charges, make payments or download transactions into Quicken or Money. I don't know how long until they make it unsecured (if that's even an option).

    Dinob12,
I have both visa and mastercard with First Premier Bank. They are easier to get than most cards. Afterall, I have them and no one gives me credit!
But thats all going to change. Best of luck!

Quick question....How long have you had the First Premier cards and have you been offered a cl increase since you have had the card...

I have their card, I have had it for 10 months, and so far no increase yet.

I think you have to ask First Premier Bank for a credit limit increase and they charge for it, and only increase at $100.00 a time, and charge $25.00 for the increase...

Read first premiers terms. They charge 25.00 just to consider your first line increase, even if you dont qualify for it . 81 days after paying off and closing my secured card and first premier is still holding my 1500. deposit hostage. FIRST PREMIER SUCKS

I got my Sterling card through Junum, its the exact same thing as the regular Sterling card, but I think maybe Junum might get a kickback for every new signup or something. They give you 120% of your deposit guaranteed.
