Hey Mom and all others interested, I called again tonight to the automated AMEX system on my AMEX Gold Delta Optima card applications and they said that it is still processing and I will here in 6 days. Wow! I always get DENIED instantly in the past.....lol. Thanks for the tip and I hope it works out for me....
Call again in the morning and select the option to speak to a rep. Ask what the status is. Say you are really excited about the card blah blah blah. Tell them that you'll be doing some traveling to Dentist's Conventions and your Organization's preferred carrier is Delta. I don't need to tell you anything further, you are the Master already! You might even be able to make up something better than that! LOL...
