    Helloooo everyone.

I have some extra money. I want to buy some stocks. Does anyone know of a good online company to use or a not so good company to stay away from????

Also, any suggestions regarding what to buy ( I know it is all at my own risk and you are not advising me on it.)...just your opinion???

If you do not suggest or think stocks are a good invest what else .....I currently have IRA/ Mutual Funds???

    Thanks for the infooooooooooo.

I am pretty happy with my Ameritrade account. It costs $10 for a trade and I can also buy before/after hours.

Barrons and Wall Street Journal are excellent sources of information for learning about stocks, getting a feel for the market, and getting recommendations.

I am also partial to Briefing.com which gives material news about certain stocks in real time.

Bloomberg is also a good source of informaton.

    Good Luck:)
