Donna and Momof3 are correct I was able to get a Target card with just about no credit history except for a military credit card and a just barely purchused new car. So be wery wery careful about appling to just anywhere. I say using money orders or cash is your best bet or try buying a piece of furniture for example from a store where you have to make long term payments because that will help you with getting your credit looking better or start to establish first time credit, I know that's what I should of down.
That's funny - Target AND Speigel turned me down, but I was able to get a card through Axsys Advantage, which is the card company for Fingerhut. You can go right to Fingerhut's website and apply. - Hey, if they gave it to me, they'll give one to anyone! P.S. Mine started with a $300.00 limit.
