Well it took my 4th online dispute to actually get any action. Every other time i've submitted it. Nothing has happened (result wise). They would mail me asking me for a copy of my SSN and DL, and I would ignore it (sorry if they wanted the numbers they could ask, but i've been on file since 1989!!) They verified one collection, and didn't delete two items. Those two items were "updated with new information" but the verification dates were 96!! I filed another dispute today (actually against all 3 bureaus). I think i'll continue to use the online services. I'm down two: 3 negs on TU, 2 negs on experian, and 2 negs on Equifax. Down from about 14 on each. It pays to keep nailing those online dispute systems, over and over again. Junum? Hmm. Not really worth it imo. You can do it yourself, and get the same results.
Re: Story about trans union dispute Sam- The replies in this thread were split and moved into their own thread entitled "vB Codes & Colors" posted to the Feedback forum. This was necessary as nearly all replies were specifically about the ability to post using colors, different font sizes, etc. with one exception: the first reply to your message by Bill Bauer, which was included in the split by accident. Regretfully, I am not able to undo the split. Therefore I have asked Bill Bauer to reply to your message a second time so as to get the thread rolling again. I apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. Sincerely, pbm
Sam: I don't use the online services because you have no CERTIFIABLE IN A COURT OF LAW paper trail so that you can prove anything on them. [*]How long do you think it might take you to get rid of them if indeed you are able to get rid of them at all if the creditors keep on verifying the reports?
