I pulled my credit report and found an entry from Coldata for $4000 collecting an account for Norwest. I have never had a Norwest account. I do not recognize this account at all. I have read on this board many folks complaining about Coldata. What should I do? I had a 516 number in NY on the Equifax but no one ever answers that number so I can find out more information about it. Please help!
Norwest was bought by Wells Fargo about 2 yrs ago. Coldata is known for buying debt that is more than 7 yrs old. They tried to collect a 10 yrd old from me.
