Strange EQ file

I am completely dumfounded at what I found on my Equifax report. I subscribe to Privista and also bought Equifax ScorePower with the Credit Profile. Anyway, my Privista showed me what looks like a completely wiped out report. All my good tradelines about 5 of them are gone. Meanwhile I was disputing a small collection that was paid and a chargeoff that was settled with the crazy Gulf State. So, the final look of my report is: my personal data, correct address, wrong Birthdate, no positive tradelines and 2 chargeoff that were deleted from Gulf now reappearing as the original creditor Bank One. The irony is the FICO score when I was disputing and had few decent lines reporting was 529. Now with this crap it's HIGHER: 537. UNBELIEVABLE.

Any suggestions what I should do now. Any help very appreciated.

I have looked for any different file numbers but there aren't any. The birthdate is wrong, but Social Security and address are right. I am just thinking what to make out of this and how to talk to them tomorrow.

    EQUIFAX always has wrong D.O.B.

I guess if somebody got your credit report...they would be DENIED instantly (for credit) because they would use the WRONG D.O.B.

    George,

Thanks. I guess the mystery will unveil tomorrow -- what kind of creepy logic this EQUIFAX and more crazy FICO uses.

Even if you call or write to have it "FIXED"...all it takes is one credit card company to change it again...AND THEY NEED NO PROOF, OR PERMISSION!!!

    George,

you were right. They did have two files with two birthdates for me. I gave them hell -- one of the printable Credit Profile reports listed my age as 2002. We'll see how the new report will look like.
