OK I have what may seem to be a strange question but I am going to ask it anyway, LOL!!!

Say I was approved for a lease or finance through GMAC...would an employee who works there have access to my credit report information?

Let me try to explain a little better...I leased a Chevy Blazer a few years back and my best friends aunt was able to look into my files (without my permission, mind you) to see what kind of deal I got...would she also be able to see my credit report information?

The reason I am asking is that I have never told anyone that I filed BK outside of my immediate family and would consider going through GMAC again in the future.

Umm..... I want to reply helpfully, but I dodn't understand.

Does this mean GMAC approved you KNOWING you had a Bankruptcy??

Im sorry...The GMAC lease I had was before my bankruptcy.

My question is when you are approved...do the dealers retain your credit (report) information in the computers?

I just want to know if I am ever approved for another GMAC lease...is there any way my friends aunt will be able to see my credit report if she goes to see what kind of deal I got on my lease?
