   I think an OC is reporting incorrect info on my CR. This debt has been charged off. Would it be advisable to call the OC to get info regarding this account? Or is that a big no-no?
   
   Also, how likely is it that a CO occurred and a JDB purchased this debt from the OC the same month?

   The OC charged it off and sold it to the collection agency. You will have to deal with them.
   As to your second question: Very likely.

   Hhld in particular holds on to their charge offs about 1.2 seconds.
