My hubby deals with the most horrific CA in the world, well now they've contaminated my TU report. To boot they are associated with TU, good part, they only report to TU: December 16th or so, they sent me a bill for a dentist I went to 11/00, it's for my whole family $450, January 10th, I faxed over a validation letter and C&D, I know they received it cause they sent a letter commenting on the C&D part. NOTHING happens til yesterday, all of a sudden it appears on my TU report, stating placement date 12/01. I called and left a message saying it's not mine, I've requested proof, you ignored my request and felt the need to break the law. I DO owe the bill, and I don't think they will delete for payment even though it was JUST put on, but this company has deleted all old bills hubby paid in full, once a dispute was done with the CRA. What would you do? I want this to be quick and painless.
