Are there any prime banks that give student credit cards to students regardless of their credit? What I'm saying, is it easier for a student with bad credit to get a student credit card since it is aimed towards a specific group? Thanks!
Probably not. Creditors are anxious to approve students, for it is likely their first experience with credit, and the first credit card is likely to be one they hold on to the longest. Unfortunately for you, you have already indicated to creditors that you have trouble managing credit responsibly. You will probably have to resort to a secured sub-prime card, depending on the severity of the derogatory information.
