With the interest rates dropping so low, I am thinking about consolidating my student loans. But , I am concerned that this may drop my fico score and because I plan to buy a house soon, I can't afford a point loss. Has anyone had experience with this matter? I know that BT's can sometimes reduce your score but I could not find any info on loan consolidations. Any help would be appreciated.
