Hi folks, Your answer on this will be much appreciated. My wife is going to apply for the CitiAssist student loan next month. She is currently waiting for her green card approval. She already completed the adjustment interview last December. So her immigration status is pending AOS. How will this affect her student loan application? How strict is Citibank with immigration status? Does she have to be a green card holder for the loan approval? I am a green card holder and I will co-sign her loan. Will this make any difference? Please help. Thanks.
