How long do loans show up on a report? I just got my husbands updated report from EQ, and really all that is on there is student loans. there are about 10 showing up on there, because every time he refinances, it creates a new tradeline. Some of them have last activity dates from 94/95. Should I worry about them all being on there? They all have 0 balances, except the 3 that are actually active (which have recently been consolidated) Is having all those tradelines hurting his already horrible score?

Also, he just applied for a forebearance. How long should I wait before I try to dispute those 2 accounts, to see if they get updated? I just mailed them last week!

    Thank you...

Good tradelines can stay for up to 10 years. Negative ones are required to come off in 7.
