    Just checking...if they're not in repayment yet then they don't effect your score, right? Or am I wrong?

    I assume they do, they're on your report.

    If your student loans are not in repayment and as long as the deferment is at least 12 months before payment is due, then as far as a mortgage lender is concerned, they have no affect at all on debt ratio.
