I work for a company that does Federal Student Loan Consolidations. This is a free service and you retain your Guaranteed status. If you are interested, email me with your name, phone number and where you live(so I don't call you to late in the evening) and I will call and see if consolidation might be a benefit for you. I would suggest going to www.ed.gov and follow the links to the direct consolidation web site. I just consolidated my loans there and -- NO CREDIT APPROVAL NECESSARY -- and am now saving 1.5% (well pretty darn close) in interest.
Do you have to have loans held by multiple lenders? I talked to CFS re: refinancing, and they couldn't help because all my loans were already with one company.
no federal consolidation loan requires a credit check unless P.L.U.S. loans are involved and the company I work dosn't do credit checks on them either though most other programs do. And I believe that the Direct Loan Program does require good credit to consolidate P.L.U.S. loans Brian
