My student loans went out of deferment and I ended up missing a couple of payments because I did not realize my deferment period was up. I now have negative items that shows 1 60 days late and 3 90 days late items on my payment history. What would be the best way to remedy this situation?
Call the servicer of the loan and explain your situation - I believe they will remove those lates as a one time courtesy. Good luck, Sal
