    1/Except for the misconceptions.

    2/What do you like about shell games and why do you like it?

    ~~~What's right about setting prices based on a number?
    If it's a good way to price things why isn't it done in the other industries?
    ````Why not force the Cr. Ind.to get their act together or close them down until they do ?

    For all of Fair Isaac's faults, I appreciate credit scoring b/c it does not see, as PsychDoc pointed out, "White", "Negro", "Oriental", "Female", "Catholic", "Jewish", "Good-ole-Boy", etc...

    The system we have now is FAR, FAR better than what existed in the good old days.

    I'll take a blind, faulty and arbitrary computer any day over a human who "sees" too much and decides to use what he or she "sees" maliciously.

    FICO has nothing to do with car color.[

    That isn't how you handle a con artist:It's not a game it's a sham!

    There are no rules in a con game.

    Dock is giving the wrong thing credit for this.
    I agree with you totally that things are better than they were then but why are they better?
