I went to the courthouse, got my vacated judgment document, sent it in... Called CSC and they said, "fax it in, we'll get it faster". So I do. And they PUT IT IN DISPUTE. I'm not disputing it, I'm telling them it's completely wrong, and has been since this was vacated in '02. Possibly that is the same as disputing it, but I'm ticked off anyway. Now they're saying they can't delete it just yet, give them 30 days. Jerks.
A little patience, they are following the "rules" when they immediately mark the TL "In Dispute". The systems involved in reporting do take some time, 30 days is reasonable. Be aware that there are some "bad apples" out there that submit fake documents, etc. So, allow them their due diligence time, and if the TL is not removed within 30 days, then unleash the dogs of war......
Thanks, bizwiz. I think I've reached an impatient point in my credit repair... I'm so close to the end, I'm trying to rush it along. I'll take a breath and wait them out. Thanks for the help!
does anyone have a fax number for them? do the others accept disputes by fax, if so anyone have those numbers?
