I just pulled my TU report. I always have trouble accessing my reports from the three CRA's so I have to jump through all the hoops for them and provide all types of verifying info. After all that, they are still reporting my address wrong. They use my address that I have not used for over eight years. All my creditors use my current address and have for three years now. Every time I access TU, I have to give them a Drivers license, and at least two other pieces of info. My last three addresses don't even show up as previous addresses. My previous address on the TU is a PO box I never used. How do I get them to report my correct address? Obviously none of the proof I have provided is good enough. And, the fact that all my creditors use my current address is not good enough either. Can't these people get anything right?
Dispute all of the old addresses. Get rid of them. Give them your current address and thats all. Between my husband and I TU had at least 10 addresses apiece. We have only lived in two places in the last 8 years. Who knows where they get this stuff. They will remove incorrect addresses with dispute. I considered this part of my clean up.
