I have several inquiries from CA's on my reports who have been unable to validate. After failure to validate or respond to the estoppel letter, there is no listing on my report by these CA's but their inquiries remain. In reading the validation and estoppel letters it states that they are to remove any previous inquiries from the credit report. Has anyone had success in getting inquiry deletions from the CRA's by documenting the fact that the CA was unable to validate and did not respond after the estoppel letter was received? If so, did you just send the documentation to the CRA and they deleted, or were there problems.....or was it just hit or miss?
