Started in March 2002. Down to 4 negative items and a judgment, score has gone from 605 to 685 in less than a month. Thank all of you very very much. It has been wonderful. (Sometimes frustrating, but mostly a great learning experience) I just now put in my last two disputes, one for the judgment and one for one that is due to fall off in a couple of months anyway which should take my score higher. Equifax is another story. God, they take their time. As soon as I get these two fully cleaned up, I am tackling TransUnion, haven't even gotten my report back from them yet. Couldn't get it online, had to do the snail mail thing. Going house hunting June 15. Hope those interest rates stay low!!! I understand lenders pull all three reports, but from what I read, they choose the middle score? Is this correct? So theoretically, if I can get Experian and Equifax fully cleaned up and have TransUnion in dispute for all the items that were cleaned up from the other two - think that will work for me?
