In the summary of credit-related message boards, I listed "Cross Country Bank Sucks" (one of my personal favorites). However, it looks like I shortchanged a few other card issuers in this respect. Here's a list of "sucks" web sites that may be of interest: Shitibank Discussion Forum http://www.shitibank.com MBNA Sucks! http://www.mbnasucks.org/ Providian Financial Sucks http://www.olywa.net/mbaram/providia.htm First Scams -- First USA Consumer Opinion http://members.tripod.com/fusa1/contents.htm Cross Country Bank Sucks http://www.jerrydj.com/CCB/ccb.html Fleet Bank Horror Stories http://www.genericdomain.net/~copprtop/fleetbank/horrorstories.html I Hate Fleet Dot Com http://www.ihatefleet.com Chase Bank Sucks "The Right Relationship Means Nothing" http://www.chasebanksucks.com/ Victims of Chevy Chase Bank http://www.atomicweb.com/chevychasebanksucks/ Enjoy! Strangely enough, I have have to give Wells Fargo a compliment. They bought an auto loan I had with a finance company that went out of business. In an effort to get more money before they finally went under, the old finance company claimed every single payment was late. I had been sending mine cert- RR for about 2 yrs, (ever since they started their shenanigans). Then they tried to charge me late fees - kept tacking them on to the end of the loan. When Wells Fargo bought it, I called them and told them I had all the green tickets from the P.O., I asked them to take all that stuff off, it was ruining my credit (I was rebuilding after bk7), and they just did it! They had the old tradeline deleted from my report, and inserted their own "paid as agreed." I promptly went out and traded the car in, got a better loan.
Brad, I just tried to visit the wellsfargosucks.com address, but it doesn't seem to be up. Does it work for you? Doc
