I am new to this board and am finding it exhausting trying to read the boards or find threads applicable to my situation as ALL credit related topics are under one category - "CREDIT TALK." Would it be possible to provide a few more categories to choose from as this is a very active board with many members who are constantly posting? For two hours I have been trying to get past today's posts!

Perhaps the following topics would work (but anything more than one would be nice)

    Credit Bureaus
    Collection Agencies
    Dispute Process
    Debt Settlement
    Debt Validation
    Going to Court
    FICO Scoring
    Credit Cards
    Auto Loans
    Mortgage Qualifying
    Bankruptcy
    Judgements
    ...

do you see how having more than one topic will help keep us from getting dizzy from attempting to read posts, falling down and cracking our heads open and thereby delaying our credit repair endeavours?

    Hi,

    Your suggestion is good.

The one thing I enjoy is seeing everything in one place, that way the question is asked for everyone to see, and not just in one category.

I know this board seems overwhelming at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's o.k. :)

We've passed the 3600 mark. That's alot of members. Of course not all post, but there are a small handful of members who are very active, and with all the new questions and members popping up, threads tend to disappear quickly.

Also, during the week this board moves fast. By the time Friday and the weekend rolls around, it slows down. Sunday's are the easiest days to catch up on your reading. Another thing, you do not need to go through each thread, if the topic of the thread pertains to you, your situation, or just catches your eye, then read up, otherwise pass on it for now (that is if you're in "seek info." mode, if you're just browsing go for every thread.

Those are our friends at Equifax, Experian, Transunion, and who knows how many CA's.

Well, maybe not all, but we know they're out there.

Actually it's 1991 members to be exact.

Here's what happens when you get bored and are looking for an activity to induce sleep:

    POSTS MEMEBERS

    00 -1991
    01 -237
    02 -134
    03 -110
    04 -70
    05 -63
    06 -55
    07 -50
    08 -31
    09 -35
    10 -30
    11 -32
    12 -23
    13 -17
    14 -19
    15 -20

Total members posting 15 times or less =2917

Which means the other 768 of us have posted 15 times or more.

So in other words, more than 80% (and probably even higher if I factored in who posted 50 time or less) of the registered members have either never posted, or posted less than 16 times since registering.
