Re: Suggestions to Rebuild Credit My credit report is slowing cleaning itself up. Last Spring ('02) I got a car loan at a pretty decent rate, so I figured my credit was improving. I have a Cap One and a Household card, but wanted something new to build my credit. Tried an ExxonMobile, but was rejected because of the BK on my record. (The BK was discharged in '96) Haven't had any problems or late pays in years, thought I'd give it some time, and try somewhere else. It's a year later, so I give Sunoco a try. Rejected. What gives? I keep getting more mail from Cap One for additional crap, but I wanted something diferent just for the sake of having a card with someone else. I'm beginning to think I'm on some Gas Card black list.
Re: Suggestions to Rebuild Credit I've heard people say that Chevron had a card for rebuilding. You might consider a secured card too.
