Dear legal experts, I want to sue consumerinfo.com for pulling my credit report without permissible purpose. The problem is that consumerinfo.com is not registered here in Georgia and they don't have an agent. However, it turns out that consumerinfo.com is owned/was purchased by Experian who does have a registered agent in Georgia. So, do I sue consumerinfo.com and serve the Experian Corporate agent (in care of) or do I sue Experian for the actions of its wholly owned subsidiary? I think that I have to sue the consumerinfo.com in its home state/county or where the actual crime occurred. Since the report pulled without permissible purpose was Equifax, I assert that the crime was committed here in Atlanta, GA. Therefore, I want to file the suit in Fulton County. Am I totally off base? Will I have to fly to California to sue/serve Consumerinfo.com? yzf600rk
