My OC is in Ohio. Moved to AZ. Still did business with this OC in AZ. I am going to file suit against this OC. Question is: Can I file in AZ or do I have to file in Ohio? Thanks

Maybe I'm answering myself, but does the case have to take place in the state the contract was made??? Thanks

Probably depends on what grounds are you suing them.

If it is FCRA, for erroneous reporting, I think you can sue in your state, based on this:
    http://www.ftc.gov/os/statutes/031224fcra.pdf

    "§ 618. Jurisdiction of courts; limitation of actions [15 U.S.C. § 1681p]
An action to enforce any liability created under this title may be brought in any
appropriate United States district court, without regard to the amount in controversy, or in
any other court of competent jurisdiction, not later than the earlier of (1) 2 years after the
date of discovery by the plaintiff of the violation that is the basis for such liability; or (2) 5
years after the date on which the violation that is the basis for such liability occurs."

Note: I am not an attorney.

It would be FCRA erroneous reporting. I have saved the link and the info you stated above. How would you suggest I find out for sure??? I know they'd drop the case if they had to come to AZ from OH!!! That's kinda WHY I wanna sue from here.
